Nature of work for the Airport Manager includes administrative management of the airport in order to maintain a safe, secure and efficient facility that complies with Federal, State and local regulations and special assignments and projects as directed. This position develops administrative goals and recommends policies and procedures to the Airport Authority Board. Plans and manages all fiscal activities for the Airport and ensures that administrative offices and processes run smoothly including: reconciliation of monthly accounting records; assist in administering capital projects and budget; tracks Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grants, Passenger Facility Charges (PFC) and other capital projects utilizing appropriate processes. Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities qualifies. Ideally, a qualified candidate will possess a degree in Airport Administration or related field with minimum of 2 years of management experience, preferably in airport management at a small or non-hub commercial service airport.
